Remanufactured Compressors

All compressors remanufactured by Comptec go through a rigorous remanufacturing process (see below) to ensure that they are delivered to the customer in ‘as good as new’ condition, whilst providing substantial cost savings. Our remanufacturing process

Compressor referencing” color=”Default”][vc_column_text]Each compressor is given a reference number on arrival which is used on all correspondence and helps record an individual compressor history, utilising our internal data systems.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle title=”2. Replacement of individual parts” color=”Default”][vc_column_text]All bearings, gaskets, piston rings, and valve reeds are discarded, as well as any components that do not pass our initial inspections.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle title=”3. Cleaning of remaining metal parts” color=”Default”][vc_column_text]Removing all oxides, corrosion, lubricants etc.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle title=”4. Refurbishment of remaining metal parts” color=”Default”][vc_column_text]Including cylinder honing, liner replacement, precision surface grinding of valve seats, bearing pressing, crankshaft grinding etc.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle title=”5. Assembly” color=”Default”][vc_column_text]Adhering to OEM tolerances and torquing to factory specifications.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle title=”6. Test run on a test bench” color=”Default”][vc_column_text]All details are recorded on our database for future reference.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][toggle title=”7. Repainting” color=”Default”][vc_column_text]A new coat of quality paint in the original color is applied.[/vc_column_text][/toggle][/toggles][vc_column_text]
